Review on Cafe Boba – By: Madi Schultz

Cafe Boba is a cute little shop found at 4314 Division Ave S. Kentwood, Michigan 49548, and can be reached at (616) 303-008, or through their website on facebook. They sell teas, coffees, and smoothies, with or without boba, boba pearls are made of tapioca starch that comes from the cassava root, so customers can rest easy knowing that gelatin is not used in the making of these tiny bursting bubbles. This place is very welcoming to those who have not yet tried boba. They do have food as well, but the bubble tea, or boba, is the main attraction.

When driving to the Cafe, it is easy to find and easy to get to, but the parking lot is very small and hard to exit. Plan on parking being a challenge and just be cautious when leaving.

This restaurant is nothing fancy, so outfit choice is simple, wear anything! It is a cozy little place that is nice to study in and enjoy some boba. A lot of people will bring their own computers and sit on the couches to work. It is quiet and a very friendly environment.

Upon arriving at the restaurant some may be unsure of what they want to eat or drink because it is fairly new. The menu has a wide range of options, most of the food is asian cuisine, but the drinks have a variety of choices. The strawberry smoothie with mango flavored boba was a yummy treat. They have small, medium, and large sizes, but the small seems to be enough for many. The boba can be added to smoothies, coffee, and tea.

One downside to Cafe Boba is the fact that they only have three boba flavors, so it can be hard to mix it with a specific drink. Overall though, the service was great, the drink was great, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing after school with friends.

Cafe Boba was a really good find, and it would be a place to go back to more than once. It is a creative idea to mix the boba in drinks, and it tastes amazing. The service was nice, and they accept anyone to come in and try their boba creations!
