A Baja Taco Kitchen is new to Standale! Stan Diego is a new California-styled restaurant in Standale that opened in late April of 2018. The bright kitchen is always playing a playlist inspired by California to make you feel like you’re there as well. They also feature a retro orange Volkswagen and have foosball displayed in the center.

Diners can start their meal with multiple starters. There are chips, salsa, guacamole, and more. These low priced appetizers can serve a whole family before the meal. The drink selection is large for both children and adults.

They serve six different types of tacos on homemade fresh flour tortillas to meet the likes of all of their customers. The different tacos are stuffed with a wide variety of things, anywhere from battered fish to your classic steak or chicken to vegetarian options. The tacos are small, so make sure you order at least two to fill up. If a customer isn’t a fan of tacos, Stan Diego also offers some other sandwiches and classic taco kitchen dishes. Jenna got the Carne Asada taco and Gracyn got the Surf and Turf Taco and both were absolutely delicious.

Diners will want to complete their meal with dessert for sure. The restaurant offers ice cream, cake and churros tossed in cinnamon sugar with chocolate drizzled over the top.

The service at Stan Diego is fast and quality care. The server was very kind and we only had about a 20 minute wait for our meal. It was a family friendly environment but also offer a happy hour Thursday-Sunday from 3-6pm. If you’re in a hurry, carry out is available. Stan Diego has a catering service for any graduation parties, weddings, family reunions, or any other large group gathering for great prices.
