Sale, shop, deal. What came to mind when you read those three words? What comes to most minds first is Black Friday. It’s the most intense, busiest and craziest shopping day of the year. This makes sense because the deals are amazing. In previous years, Black Friday shopping strictly consisted on only shopping on Friday, but that has changed. Stores like Target or Macy’s at the mall have started offering their sales, and keeping their doors open throughout the long weekend, which now tends to be around 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. After speaking to many GHS shoppers about their Black Friday experience this year, I found out many interesting things. I found out that most people get all their shopping done as soon as most stores open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving, or they just don’t go at all. The people who don’t go at all wait for the deals that they will get from online shopping on Cyber Monday. It seems like most people dislike Black Friday. They would rather skip the deals than be involved in all the traffic and insane lines. Thankfully there are still a lot of people who love the tradition of Black Friday. I one of them. I look forward to Black Friday shopping every year! I get more excited with every shopping trip to see what crazy deals I can get.
