Brendon Kerner shares his childhood experience with haunted houses.
“I was either 7 or 8 years old and it was for Connor Fischer’s birthday and they had a bunch of people at his grandparents cottage.”
They went to a haunted ship rather than a haunted house. When they got there, there was a tent set up with a guy in a freaky clown costume and “he gave us rules for what they could and couldn’t do.”
When they got in there it was very dark and the only lights that were on were flickering.
“It was a massive ship so we had no idea where we were going. There would be people popping around corners, scary music was playing, dead bodies were on the ground. You didn’t know which ones would jump at you. A little bit after we went in, there was a cafeteria with disgusting food with bugs all over it. A dude jumped out of nowhere and scared my sister with a sinister mask on. I don’t remember much because it was a long time ago and I was clinging on to my mom the entire time.”
